Little Strickland !0 mile race - Shap, Cumbria - 8th March
Conditions Cold, blizzards,  with hailstones thrown in.
Peter Milburn 14th  (68.35), Susan Milburn 47th (81.41)
The race was won in 64.00 mins
NYSD X/C League Meeting - Richmond - 15th March
Although only 10 members were able to make it to this fixture the Club scored points in both the men's and ladies' team event.
In the u/15 race William Crossen just missed out on a top 10 place, finishing 11th.
Sue Milburn was 16th (and 2nd 0/45) in the ladies' race, with Penny Johnson (37th) and Lynn Gibson (40th) helping to take the team into 8th place.
In the u/20/senior men/vets race  James Askew ran well again to finish  10th overall and 4th u/20, followed by Peter Milburn in 24th, George Reid, 43rd,Richard Campbell, 52nd, Colin Gibson, 67th and Ray Todd, the Club's oldest member, in 86th place, to clinch 6th place in the team event.
Middlesbrough 5K - 29th March
On very Sunny morning over 800 runners  warmed up with music from a local pop group then started outside the Town Hall in Central square.The course went over the border round the transporter bridge and doubled back from Boro's football stadium; it was a fast course and well worth doing for anyone wanting to do a pb over 5k.  20th Floyd Jones 17.32, 27th Peter Milburn 18.09, 94th Susan Milburn 21.26, 124th David White 21.49, 448th Julie Nisbet 28.13
